CDAIA Membership

cdaia02All SDDAIA members are also members of the California District Attorney Investigator’s Association (CDAIA).

Over the past 45 years, the CDAIA has worked to form closer relationships between District Attorney’s Investigation Units throughout California and the Western United States.  Our members understand that the investigation and gathering of evidence relating to criminal offenses is a responsibility which is inseparable from the District Attorney’s prosecutorial function and that the District Attorney and our membership is charged with the duty of investigation as well as prosecuting criminal activity.  Our membership in this organization is vital to ensure we have the best trainied investigators in the state.

SDDAIA members attend CDAIA training and conferences on a regular basis, including conferences and symposiums. The District Attorney's Office supports and funds membership for all SDDAIA members to join the CDAIA.
