Association President Zmijewski and Treasurer Harward met with Congressman Darrell Issa at the Capitol during 2022 Police Week. Among the topics that was covered was Qualified Immunity along with retention and the hiring of good officers.

Shamrock 5K Donation Check

DAIA member Dam Leja provides a donation check to the Beta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority. On March 19th, they held their annual Shamrock 5K run/walk to raise money for the prevention of child abuse through Olive Crest Organization and nationally through Prevent Child Abuse America. The Sorority is a part of the Beta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at San Diego State University.
