21st Volunteers in Probation (VIP) Golf Tournament

DAIA members Immediate Past Vice President Eric Nava, Chris Raagas, FOF VP Stan Schwarz and Association Treasurer Dan Harward participated in the 21st Volunteers in Probation (VIP) golf tournament on Oct. 8th. Thanks for the hard work!
On August 22nd we were proud to have donated $500.00 to assist the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF)!
The ENF provides free transportation to medical treatments and other free family support programs to under served children with cancer. They help families navigate through their child’s journey with cancer and give them the gift of hope.

Thank you all again for helping out and supporting this FOF event. Our membership had a strong presence in the winner’s circle. DAIA member Gordon Govier and DDA Will Hopkins made it to the final table. Will ultimately won second place out of 48 poker players. DAIA member Ted Mansour won the grand prize raffle basket. The FOF Poker Night brought in $6725 in revenue and after cash prizes and expenses, we were able to raise $5176 for the FOF. A...
SDDAI Foundation and Veterans Association of North County (VANC)

On May 14th, members Dan Leja and Bryan Zmijewski volunteered at the Veterans Association of North County (VANC). The San Diego District Attorney Investigator’s Foundation had provided VANC with a monetary donation of $250.00 and manpower to accomplish their mission. VANC had over 200 military families drive by to pick up food, over 90% of those picking up donated supplies were our active military.
On 4/30/2021, the SDDAI Foundation in conjunction with Napoleone’s Pizzeria came together to provide an opportunity for the public to donate to the Foundation. Napoleone’s is a staple in the South Bay community and is a family owned business that has been open since 1958. Napoleone’s believes in giving back to the community it serves.
